The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigeria Nationals for the position below at the Institutes headquarter in Ibadan.Position: Architect Duration: 6 months renewable Location: IbadanClosing Date: 23 May 2025DUTIES:

• Discuss the objectives, requirements, and budget of a project
• Consult with other professionals about the design and building
• Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to the client
• Advise clients on the practicality of their project
• Produce detailed working drawings and specification for IITA projects
• Specify the nature and quality of materials required for a project
• Prepare tender documents and presentation
• Prepare documents for planning and building with control
• Project management and supervision of contractors
• Resolve construction related problems
• Managing project, work in progress, and ensuring that the project is running on time and no budget
• Perform any other duty as may be directed by the Supervisor.

RequirementsQUALIFICATION: HND/BSc in Architecture or related field with a minimum of four (4) years experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.COMPETENCIES: The ideal candidate must:

• Have experience in structural design work
• Have the ability to read blue prints.
• Be able to help in planning and control specification of various buildings
