Business Manager (Publishing Industry Experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Manager to lead operations at our newly established print-on-demand business in Ikeja. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive growth, optimize operations, and foster a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and increase revenue.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Create and execute effective sales and marketing plans.
Build and manage long-term customer relationships.
Identify and develop new sales channels, business opportunities, and partnerships.
Lead financial planning including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing actionable recommendations.
Oversee daily business operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Optimize print production processes and resource utilization.
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team.
Design and implement employee training and development programs.
Promote a positive, collaborative, and results-driven workplace culture.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in business management.
Experience in the printing or publishing industry is an added advantage.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and make strategic business decisions.
