Cloud Architect

• Minimum Qualification :

Penta Consulting are a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA.

We are supporting a well esteemed client of ours searching for a Cloud Solution Architect for a 12 month extendable contract.

Key skills

• Good grasp of ICT infrastructure and principle of separation of concerns (Compute, Storage, Network, Security)
• Leadership, Mentorship and Coaching skills
• Multi Cloud expertise (At least one) of AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Understanding of On-prem virtualization, containerization technologies like Redhat, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
• Proficient with the use of architecture design tools like Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint or equivalent
Good understanding of security and compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and development of cloud reference architecture and management systems
• Design Cloud Operating Models
• Provide thought leadership in industry and to fellow team members across business and technical project dimensions, solving complex business requirements.
• Lead the development of Architecture Principles, Enterprise Target Architecture, Architecture Repository and Roadmap aligned to the Business and IT Strategy implementation plan.
• Manage the selection of new solutions in line with Architecture Principles to support New Demand
• Recommend technology and product roadmap aligned to business and IT strategy.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop the assigned staff and external stakeholders in relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver their respective section objectives.
Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for given scope in line with the Company Performance framework.
