Zeipo is the always‑on AI receptionist that answers every call, books appointments, and boosts revenue for service-based businesses like salons, clinics, gyms, and car‑rental services in Nigeria. We need a storyteller who can translate solid research into engaging articles that show local business owners how voice technology can grow their revenue.

What were looking for (at a glance)

Ideal: UNILAG Lit/Eng final‑year who already edits a campus publication, runs a small side‑business, meets deadlines, and can cite Lagos‑specific data.

Good enough: Solid writer with a personal blog, eager to learn research/interview skills, needs light coaching on SEO and schedule discipline.

Not ideal: Volume freelancer who relies on AI paraphrasing, offers little local insight, and produces high‑plagiarism drafts.

Responsibilities

• Write 2‑3 original articles per week (about 1,200 words each) on AI voice tech, Lagos SME case studies and customer‑service best practices.
• Follow our SEO briefs and twice‑weekly deadlines (submit Monday and Thursday).
• Interview local businesses when needed and cite credible Nigerian data sources.
• Adapt content for multiple channels such as blog, LinkedIn and printable one‑pagers.
Work in Discord and Google Docs and turn around editor feedback quickly.

Qualifications

• Strong command of written English. Current University of Lagos Literature or English student or recent graduate strongly preferred, but other talented writers can apply.
• Portfolio showing research‑driven, engaging articles. Deep tech expertise is not required; curiosity is.
• Comfortable using GPT or similar tools for brainstorming and outlines, but the final draft must be 100 percent human‑written and pass originality checks.
Reliable internet connection and a proven record of meeting deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Published work on business, tech or Nigerian SME topics.
• Active in writing or tech communities (Medium, LinkedIn groups, campus press).
• Has an active community or group
Runs a small business on or off campus

Compensation and Perks

Cash: ₦50,000 on‑completion stipend, plus a ₦2,000 quality bonus if all eight posts pass first edit.

Workstyle: Fully remote schedule with the possibility of continuing freelance projects after the contract.
