Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cybersecurity Training Coordinator to lead the delivery and development of technical training programs at our Cybersecurity School.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing comprehensive, hands on training content, facilitating engaging learning experiences, and guiding students toward successful cybersecurity careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain up to date cybersecurity training materials, including lesson plans, slide decks, assessments, and lab manuals.
• Ensure training content reflects current industry trends, threats, technologies, and best practices.
• Deliver engaging and interactive classroom and online sessions using real world tools and scenarios.
• Incorporate practical exercises, simulations, and hands on labs to strengthen students applied skills.
• Conduct live demonstrations of key security tools, frameworks, and techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance through quizzes, assignments, labs, projects, and exams.
• Guide students in the practical application of cybersecurity principles, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Provide mentorship and career counselling to support students exploring opportunities in cybersecurity.
• Supervise students during capstone projects and exam preparations, ensuring effective knowledge application.
• Research and implement updates to the curriculum based on emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and skill gaps.
• Conduct training needs analysis and recommend curriculum improvements.
Participate in professional development, certifications, and industry events to stay at the forefront of cybersecurity education.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISM are a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in cybersecurity training, technical education, or curriculum development.
• Excellent coordinating and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is a plus.
