Field Quality Assurance Engineer

The Field Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that construction activities and project deliverables meet the required quality standards, codes, and client specifications. This role involves on-site inspections, quality documentation, coordination with contractors and engineers, and implementation of quality control processes.

• Experience Level : Mid level
• Experience Length : 4 years

• Perform field inspections and audits to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review and verify material certifications, welding procedures, and test results.
• Monitor construction and fabrication activities to ensure adherence to quality plans and procedures.
• Identify non-conformances, raise NCRs, and follow through on corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain proper documentation including inspection reports, test records, and checklists.
• Collaborate with project engineers, site supervisors, and contractors to resolve quality issues.
• Support the development of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure their implementation.
• Participate in QA/QC meetings and provide input on continuous quality improvements.
Assist in final acceptance inspections and preparation of quality dossiers for hand

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience
• Degree in a related field
