Finance Associate

A Finance Associate provides crucial support to the finance department by assisting with a range of financial tasks. This includes managing accounting records, preparing financial reports.

• Minimum Qualification : Degree
• Experience Level : Mid level
• Experience Length : 3 years

Responsibilities:

• Collation of submitted budgets and planned expenditures to the Head of Finance
• Ensure disbursements are in line with approved budgets
• Preparation and submission of service reports within 24 hours after the event
• Reconciliation of all accounts (cash, Cheques, online transfers)
• Fixed deposit management using and Excel sheet Ana ERP to track additions, rollover, and maturity.
• Disburse and account for all petty CAs expenditures by sending periodic reports
• Request for replenishment when due
• Preparation of correspondence to banks and other parties
• Attend and resolve issues with internal parties, auditors, banks, congregants, and vendors
• Regularly updating the fixed asset Register and report to the Head of Finance
Ensure the accuracy of data compiled for the service report before submission to the Head of Finance

Requirements:

• Bsc.Finance, Accounting, Economics
• A masters degree, ACCA, ACA
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience
• Up-to-date knowledge of accounting procedures and practices
• Budget planning and control
• Proficient word processing and Excel spreadsheet skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and its theories
• Cash flow management
• Must good team player yet able to work well alone
• Must have great communication skills
Must be goal-oriented and hard-working
