Finance Manager

About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and highly motivated Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a chartered accountant with at least five (5) years of relevant work experience. Candidates with prior experience in the banking or financial services industry will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with regulatory and internal standards.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, receivables, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory payments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with auditors and manage internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, policies, and practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in an accounting role.
• Experience in banking or financial services is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
