IT Support Officer

Job Title: IT Support Officer (App Usage Support)Location: Lagos (Hybrid)Salary: ₦100,000 - ₦150,000 monthlyEmployment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:We are looking for a proactive IT Support Officer to manage and support the usage of our companys internal app. You will be the go-to person for ensuring smooth app operations, assisting employees with technical issues, onboarding new users, and optimizing app performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to employees using the companys internal app.
• Assist with user account setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Train and onboard new users on how to use the app effectively.
• Monitor app performance and escalate technical issues to the development team if needed.
• Document common issues and solutions for easy internal reference.
• Maintain user access rights and security settings on the platform.
• Coordinate system updates, communicate app changes, and ensure minimum disruption.
• Support HR and Admin teams by managing app-related tasks such as attendance tracking, leave requests, payroll processing, etc.
• Generate basic usage reports and provide feedback for app improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 1-2 years experience in IT support or technical customer support (experience with app/software management is an advantage).
• Good understanding of mobile and web applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot quickly.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
• Basic knowledge of data security and user access control is a plus.
• Ability to travel
