Medical Doctor

• Minimum Qualification :

VES (Veterans Evaluations Services) a Maximus company is seeking a General Medical Doctor, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Lagos Nigeria to perform occasional, one-time, non- treatment exams for veterans and service members (residing in or near Lagos . The exams are Pension and Compensation exams and a required process for veterans to receive benefits.

What Physicians can expect from VES:

Flexible options without obligations:

As far as volume, there is no obligation on your part. The number of cases will vary from 0-6 veterans a month. The number of referrals we assign is completely up to you. We will contact you each time there are veterans/service members to schedule.

Easy Scheduling:

VESs communications and scheduling departments will handle all of the planning, confirmations and reminder notices for the exams to ensure attendance, etc. When we receive cases in your area we will reach out to you to request a scheduling date.

One-time, non-treatment examinations, guided by VA questionnaires:

The evaluations involve no treatment and are completed in a single visit. Each exam is guided by a set of Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQ) also known as “worksheets” that have been formulated by the VA. Training provided.

Paperless report submissions with access to trained recruiters, schedulers and quality analysts:

Our Secure Provider Portal (more info in training) makes report submission easy and gives you on demand access to your VES schedule along with medical records and questionnaires for each evaluation all in one place! Our team of highly trained Provider Liaisons will offer personalized guidance and support to make sure any questions you have are addressed as quickly as possible.

Payments issued monthly, directly from VES with no insurance billing or complicated invoices:VES pays directly for these evaluations via international bank transfer (automatically, with no invoice required and no medical insurance companies). Once the Veteran has been seen and the DBQ has been submitted, the case automatically goes online to arrange for payment.

Responsibilities:

Occasional one-time non-treatment exams

Complete Worksheets within 48 hours of exam

Requirements:

Medical License in Nigeria

Medical Facility/Office to conduct exams
