About This Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven POS Sales and Business Development Officer to drive the growth of our POS business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the effective distribution and usage of POS terminals across target markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and onboard new clients for the deployment of POS terminals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximize business opportunities and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs for POS terminal distribution and usage.
  • Provide demonstrations and technical support to prospective and existing customers on POS device usage.
  • Collaborate with the product and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, activation, and service support.
  • Monitor competitors activities and industry trends to strategically position the companys products.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market intelligence, and customer feedback.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [2-3 years] experience in POS sales, business development, financial services, or related sectors.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Strong understanding of POS technology and financial transaction processes is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
