Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to lead our esteemed institution in Lagos. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in educational leadership, particularly in managing top-tier schools with boarding facilities. This role requires strategic leadership, academic oversight, staff development, student well-being management, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across all academic and non-academic departments.
• Ensure the implementation of a high-quality curriculum and robust academic performance standards.
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the boarding school facility, ensuring safety, structure, and a nurturing environment for boarders.
• Foster a culture of discipline, academic excellence, and moral integrity among students.
• Supervise and mentor teachers, heads of departments, and administrative staff.
• Develop and maintain strong communication with parents, staff, and the school board.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance and staff effectiveness.
• Drive continuous school improvement through staff training, curriculum enhancement, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure full compliance with educational regulatory standards and school policies.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in school leadership, with at least 5 years as a Principal.
• Proven experience managing a boarding school facility is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex school systems and large teams.
• Deep understanding of educational trends, Nigerian curriculum, and pastoral care systems.
• Ability to uphold the schools reputation and standards.
