Are you an analytical and detail-oriented chemist with a passion for production optimization in the oil and gas industry? We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Production Chemists to join our technical team in Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses on production fluids (crude oil, gas, and water).
• Monitor and evaluate chemical treatment programs for oilfield production operations.
• Recommend appropriate chemical products and dosage levels to optimize production.
• Liaise with field engineers and operations teams to ensure proper application and handling of production chemicals.
• Conduct laboratory testing to support field operations, scale/corrosion control, demulsifier efficiency, and water treatment.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and quality assurance protocols.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of chemical usage and laboratory analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in oilfield production chemistry or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of production chemical applications including scale/corrosion inhibition, emulsion breaking, and water treatment.
• Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation and analytical techniques.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASTM, API).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
Must be willing to travel or work offshore when required.
