Restaurant Cashier

We are seeking dedicated and customer-focused Restaurant Cashiers to join our clients team. The ideal candidates must reside within the Lekki-Ajah axis and have a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and excellent customer service skills.

• Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
• Experience Level : Entry level
• Experience Length : 1 year

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process cash, card, and digital payment transactions.
• Provide receipts and ensure proper record-keeping of daily sales.
• Assist customers with menu inquiries and recommend meal options.
• Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the cashier station.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
Monitor and report any issues related to payment systems or cash handling.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination) or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant or fast-food establishment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and handling financial transactions.
• Strong mathematical and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must reside within the Lekki-Ajah axis for easy commuting.
