Responsibilities

As a Social and Management Science teacher, you will be required to:

• Develop and plan instructional materials for Geography, Business Studies and other courses in alignment with educational standards.
• Integrate real-world examples and case studies into the curriculum to enhance relevance.
• Organize classroom lectures and coursework
• Deliver comprehensive and inspiring lessons in Geography, Business Studies and other related subjects using a variety of teaching methods.
• Engage students through interactive activities, discussions, and multimedia resources.
• Design and implement assessments to measure students understanding of concepts.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Organize and lead field trips or experiential learning opportunities related to geography and business studies.
• Facilitate hands-on experiences to enhance practical understanding.
• Provide academic and career guidance to students interested in pursuing geography or business-related paths.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into teaching.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to the schools academic community.
• Incorporate technology into lessons, utilizing educational software and online resources.
• Foster digital literacy and prepare students for the evolving demands of the modern workplace.

Experience

• Prior teaching experience in Geography and Business Studies is preferred.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and educational best practices.
• Experience in integrating technology into the teaching-learning process.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Education, Geography, Business Studies, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
• Teaching certification or relevant teaching credentials.
• Demonstrated expertise in both Geography and Business Studies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and commitment to student success.
• Ability to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₦60,000.00 per month
