Storekeeper

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly efficient and hardworking Storekeeper to manage the organization, storage, and tracking of inventory in our organization. The Storekeeper will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory control, proper stock management, and smooth operation of daily store activities. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, trustworthy, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials.

2. Organize and store inventory in an orderly and accessible manner within the store.

3. Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment when necessary.

4. Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular stock counts (daily, weekly, or monthly as required).

5. Issue materials and products based on authorized requisitions.

6. Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.

7. Prepare inventory reports and assist with audits as needed.

8. Identify discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records and report them promptly.

9. Follow all safety and organizational protocols in handling inventory.

Key Qualifications:

1. Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification; additional certification in storekeeping, supply chain management, or inventory management is an advantage.

2. Proven experience (2+ years) as a Storekeeper or in inventory management.

3. Strong organizational and time-management skills.

4. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

5. Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory software, or similar record-keeping tools.

7. Good communication and reporting skills.

8. Honest, hardworking, and physically fit to handle store operations.

Work Mode: On-site

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦120,000.00 per month
