Job Title: Fundraising and Project Management Specialist Location: Lagos Industry: Healthcare Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising and Project Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, project management, and basic business development within the NGO sector. This role is crucial in driving our mission forward by securing necessary funds and ensuring the effective management of various projects. Key Responsibilities: Fundraising: Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial support from various sources, including grants, donations, and sponsorships. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, partners, and sponsors. Prepare and submit grant proposals and funding applications. Organize fundraising events and campaigns to increase awareness and financial support. Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders. Business Development (BD): Support business development initiatives to identify new opportunities for growth and partnerships. Assist in market research and analysis to inform business strategies. Participate in networking events and meetings to expand the organizations reach and impact. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Preferably Project Management. Proven experience in fundraising within an NGO setting. Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish. Basic understanding of business development principles. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent). Advanced degree in a relevant field.
