As our Growth Associate, youll be responsible for driving sustainable user growth across the customer lifecycle from acquisition to retention. Youll work at the intersection of product, marketing, and community, owning experiments, campaigns, and growth loops that directly impact individual users.
This is a hands-on, execution-first role perfect for someone whos analytical, scrappy, user-obsessed, and excited about building in frontier markets.
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop a comprehensive growth strategy to drive user acquisition, activation, and retention for individual users.
- Prepare a 1-year Growth Roadmap with a focus on improving the MAUs, Transacting Users, and overall monthly business numbers along with Channel Wise Action Plans to achieve the same.
- Own execute manage paid and organic acquisition channels: Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, TikTok, influencer partnerships, and community referrals.
- Implement processes, SOPs, and tools wherever missing and drive the team to success.
- Establish a content calendar and messaging framework.
- Define target audience segments, and analyze user behavior and drop-off points to optimize onboarding, KYC completion, and time to first transaction rates.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify best practices.
- Develop an A/B testing strategy to optimize landing pages, email flows, onboarding flow, etc, and iterate quickly based on data.
- Collaborate with product and customer success teams to improve user experience and reduce friction across the user journey.
System & Tool Setup:
- Platform Selection & Integration:
- Recommend and implement a suitable push notification platform (OneSignal).
- Recommend and implement a suitable email marketing platform (Customer.io, Brevo).
- Integrate these platforms with our existing product and analytics stack.
- Data Infrastructure:
- Set up data pipelines to transfer user data from our database to the marketing platform.
- Ensure proper data segmentation and tagging for personalized messaging.
- Setup event tracking, and user property tracking.
- Automation Workflows:
- Design and implement automated email and push notification workflows (e.g., onboarding sequences, transactional emails, dormant/inactive account reminders, and re-engagement campaigns).
- Create triggered notifications based on user behavior and lifecycle events.
- Template Design:
- Design and implement email and push notification templates that are visually appealing and mobile-friendly.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
Content Creation & Execution:
- Develop compelling and engaging content for push notifications and emails.
- Write clear and concise copy that drives action.
- Create personalized messaging based on user segments and behavior.
- Manage the execution of campaigns and ensure timely delivery.
- Setup dynamic content within emails and push notifications.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Set up tracking and reporting dashboards to monitor campaign performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends and insights.
- Provide regular reports on campaign performance and recommendations for optimization.
- Track conversion rates, open rates, click-through rates, and other relevant metrics.
- Setup A/B testing and provide reports on test results.
- Proactively conduct bi-weekly team meetings to review progress drive course correction and ensure the key performance parameters are in check
Requirements.
- 2+ years experience in a growth, marketing, or user acquisition role ideally in a B2C fintech or mobile-first startup.
- Proven success in launching and scaling user acquisition and retention campaigns in previous roles.
- Deep understanding of digital growth channels (paid ads, content, SEO, email, influencers, partnerships).
- Comfortable working with data funnel analysis, segmentation, attribution, and cohort metrics.
- Experience working with tools like, Onesignal, Customer IO, Mixpanel, Brevo, Microsoft Clarity, or Google Analytics is a plus.
- Strong bias for action, with a track record of running experiments and iterating fast.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills you know how to connect with users
