Net Compensation: ₦350,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 monthly

Job Description

As a Brand Designer, you will be responsible for developing visually stunning and cohesive brand identities that captivate our audience and elevate our brand presence across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage innovative brand identities, including logos, color palettes, typography, and imagery that reflect Eleven36s values and personality.
• Create engaging motion graphics, animations, and videos for various platforms, such as social media, websites, advertising campaigns, and product launches.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and creative directors to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all touchpoints.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all departments and teams.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design principles, and emerging technologies to continuously improve and refine our brands visual identity.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of hands-on brand design experience (agency or in-house).
• A rock-solid portfolio showing branding systems, not just deliverables.
• Experience working with or within fast-paced, creative tech or innovation-driven teams.
• Proven experience building brand identities from scratch (not just making logos).
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, composition, and how they influence perception.
• Ability to design flexible identity systems with guidelines that work across digital and physical touchpoints.
• Capable of evolving existing brands without throwing away their soul.
• Can translate strategy into visuals with zero fluff—just clarity and intention.
• Understands the business side of branding: positioning, audience insight, market trends, and storytelling.
• Comfortable working alongside strategists, marketers, and developers to bring brand vision to life.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Bonus Points for additional tools.
• Comfortable designing for everything from Print, social campaigns to websites, decks, and packaging.
• A solid eye for art direction in photography, video, and editorial content.
• Open to critique—but also not afraid to push back with good reason.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders without breaking a sweat (or breaking process).
• Thinks long-term: how the brand evolves and scales over time.
• Understands consistency doesnt mean “sameness” and is ready to enforce brand guidelines without sounding like a brand police robot.
• Experience in motion/animation design.
• Copywriting or verbal identity sensibility (because design and words go hand in hand).
Worked on brands across regions or cultures—extra love for West African or pan-African experience.
