Dispatch Rider

Job Summary:

The Dispatch Rider is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of medical documents, laboratory samples, pharmaceuticals, and other hospital-related items within and outside the hospital premises. The rider plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency and maintaining the hospitals service quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure prompt and secure delivery of medical supplies, documents, test results, and packages to designated locations.
• Collect and deliver external correspondence (e.g., referrals, reports, official letters) to partner clinics, pharmacies, and labs.
• Maintain a proper record of items received and delivered, including time and recipient signatures.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure the motorcycle is in good working condition.
• Report mechanical faults to the administrative department promptly.
• Comply with all traffic rules and regulations and operate in a safe and professional manner.
• Support intra-hospital errands and assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the hospital.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC Certificate.
• Valid Riders Permit/Drivers License.
• Minimum of 2 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical or corporate setting.
• Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift moderately heavy packages.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and organized.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦80,000.00 per month
