Shift Incharge: Flexo Printing

• Supervise and coordinate all production activities during the assigned shift.
• Ensure smooth operation of label printing, die-cutting, laminating, and slitting machines.
• Monitor production output, quality standards, and downtime; maintain shift reports.
• Manage shift personnel, allocate tasks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with maintenance for timely machine servicing and breakdown resolution.
• Oversee raw material availability and usage to avoid production delays.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with ISO/GMP standards.
• Train new operators and ensure skill development of team members.

Machine Operator:

• Operate and maintain label printing machines such as Lombardy, Mark Andy, Brotech, Nipter, and similar.
• Set up machines for specific jobs including label alignment, ink levels, die settings, and tension control.
• Perform in-process quality checks for print clarity, adhesive strength, and label accuracy.
• Clean and calibrate machines regularly to maintain optimal performance.
• Assist in packing, labeling, and dispatch of finished goods.
• Fill out production logs and report any deviations or issues to the Shift Incharge.

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI/Diploma in Printing Technology, Mechanical, or related field.
• Must have hands-on experience operating machines like Lombardy, Mark Andy, Brotech, Nipter, etc.
• 25 years of experience in label/sticker manufacturing preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of adhesives, substrates (PP, PET, paper), and ink types is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety and hygiene standards in manufacturing.
