Guest Outreach Specialist
We are seeking aGuest Outreach Specialistto help our podcasters book interviews with their dream guests.
This role is vital as the quality of our interview podcasts hinges on the guests we book. Poor guest choices lead to poor content, while excellent guests result in exceptional content. By securing top-tier authors and business leaders for our podcasts, we ensure high-quality content and satisfied clients.
The position requires understanding basic sales and marketing concepts such as lead generation, email copywriting and tracking. As an integrated part of the guest outreach team, you will identify top tier guests and podcasters based on their specific content/expertise and invite them to join our clients’ shows. In addition you will pitch our clients to other popular shows. In a nutshell, you will identify potential guests, obtain guest approvals from podcasters, build and manage email campaigns, and coordinate scheduling with our top podcasters.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research to find potential guests who align with the podcasts themes and target audience.
- Develop compelling and personalized email pitches to invite potential guests to the podcast.
- Monitor social media platforms to stay informed about notable trends and influencers in relevant fields such as entrepreneurship, self-improvement, and marketing.
- Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and cultural competence in all interactions.
- Oversee the planning and execution of multiple email campaigns to secure guest bookings.
- Stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and strategies in lead generation and email marketing.
Results
- Successfully identify and match over 100 expert guests to relevant podcast shows, leading to increased audience engagement and positive feedback.
- Achieve a 70% success rate in booking high-profile guests through personalized and persuasive email pitches.
- Efficiently manage and coordinate schedules for podcast shows simultaneously, ensuring zero scheduling conflicts and timely updates.
- Communicate with peers, guests and clients to ensure a successful and positive customer service experience
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across multiple spreadsheets, improving data accuracy by 95%.
- Manage email inbox with a 98% response rate within 24 hours, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
Requirements
- 1+ years e-commerce, sales, marketing, lead generation or copywriting experience.
- 2 - 5 years total work experience.
- High standards for the quality of your work and the work of others.
- Extremely organized. Loves efficiently planning and organizing many projects and tasks.
