We are seeking a strategic and visionary HR leader to serve as our Head of Human Capital and Employee Relations, playing a pivotal role in shaping our culture, people strategy, and growth trajectory across Nigeria and future African markets. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of human resources and people operations in a purpose-driven company

This role is ideal for professionals with strong HR backgrounds from banking, large corporates, or NGOs, and who are passionate about sustainable innovation and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of holistic people and culture strategies.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, learning, and high performance.
  • Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Optimize HR operations and implement data-driven people processes.
  • Oversee employee relations, policy compliance, and labor law adherence.
  • Lead performance management and reward system design.
  • Support cross-border expansion with HR frameworks and cultural alignment.
  • Serve as the HR advisor to executive leadership and external partners.

What Were Looking For

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Experience in senior HR roles. Experience in banking, corporates, or NGOs is a strong plus.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor law and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and change agility.
  • Tech-savvy, people-oriented, and strategic in HR delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦1,600,000.00 - ₦2,000,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Human Resources: 7 years (Required)
  • Leadership and Operations: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CIPM, or SHRM, or other HR related (Preferred)
