Lending Officer

The Lending Officer will be working as part of the Lending Team to collect and recover loans from clients, seek out new clients, conduct KYCs, and ensure timely payments from clients.

• Minimum Qualification : OND
• Experience Level : Entry level
• Experience Length : 1 year

Responsibilities:

• Loan Collection: Collect loan payments from clients through phone calls, visits, and other means.
• Loan Recovery: Recover loans from delinquent clients, negotiating payment plans and settlements.
• Tracking Defaults: Identify and track defaulting clients, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Market Creation: Create new markets amongst SMEs, identifying potential clients and promoting our loan products.
• KYC: Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on new clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Client Acquisition: Acquire new clients, building relationships, and providing excellent customer service.
• Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately record loan payments, client interactions, and other relevant data.
• Collaboration with Team: Work with other agents and management to achieve collection, recovery, and marketing targets.
Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing loan collection, recovery, and marketing

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of working experience
• OND in any relevant course of study
