Sales Development Representative

Our client is a fast-growing education business helping professionals accelerate their careers through personalized coaching and cohort-based programs. Their proven framework has helped learners land high-paying roles at top global companies -often boosting salaries by $50K or more.

To date, they’ve grown through content and community, generating steady inbound demand. Now they’re hiring their first dedicated sales hire to capture this momentum and build a repeatable outbound process.

Need to have qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in sales, business development, or SDR roles (inbound, outbound, or mixed)
  • Native or near-native English proficiency, with strong writing (DMs/emails) and verbal (calls) skills
  • Full-time availability (40 hours/week), aligned with the U.S. Eastern Time or US Pacific Time
  • Comfortable leading discovery calls, handling objections, and moving leads through a structured sales process
  • Tech-savvy and resourceful -comfortable using LinkedIn, CRMs, and other sales tools
  • Proactive and self-driven - able to spot problems, suggest improvements, and take initiative without waiting for direction
  • Comfortable being one of the first hires and helping shape processes as the company grows

Nice to have:

  • Experience in coaching, education, or online learning businesses
  • Prior use of LinkedIn DMs or social selling to book qualified calls
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle—from cold outreach to close

Responsibilities:

  • Convert inbound interest (DMs, comments, opt-ins) into booked calls through timely and thoughtful outreach
  • Run discovery and sales calls, aiming for 20+ calls per month and a target close rate of 20–40%
  • Launch structured outbound outreach on LinkedIn and other platforms to expand beyond warm leads
  • Collaborate with the founder to test and refine scripts, objection handling, and outreach strategies
  • Keep CRM and tracking systems up to date with outreach activity, calls, and results
  • Share insights on lead quality, messaging performance, and sales funnel conversion
  • Responsibilities may evolve over time as the business grows and focus areas shift, with flexibility to contribute where priorities are highest
