Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling meat and other food products to individual customers, retailers, restaurants, and supermarkets. You will play a vital role in expanding our customer base and ensuring consistent revenue growth through excellent service and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territories.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

- Understand product features, pricing, and availability to effectively meet client needs.

- Take customer orders and ensure timely delivery in collaboration with the logistics team.

- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

- Attend trade shows, food markets, and promotional events to represent the company.

- Provide regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and performance metrics.

- Follow up on payments and ensure customer satisfaction post-purchase.

Requirements:

- HND/BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years experience in sales, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.

- Good knowledge of meat products and foodstuff is an added advantage.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

- Customer-oriented with a passion for food sales and service.
