OverviewWe are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to respond effectively to various situations, ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property, checking for safety hazards and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches encountered during shifts.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or damage risks and implementing appropriate measures.

Skills

• Proficiency in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Experience operating CCTV systems and familiarity with monitoring procedures.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
