Senior Sales Engineer - Ariel Compressors

About the Role:We are a leading oilfield equipment manufacturer expanding our operations in Nigeria and seeking an experienced Sales Professional with a proven track record in selling Ariel compressor packages to upstream/midstream oil & gas clients. The ideal candidate will have existing customer relationships, technical knowledge of Ariel products, and a background working with key renowned packagers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of Ariel reciprocating compressors and related services to oil & gas operators, EPCs, and distributors.
  • Leverage existing client networks to secure new business and expand market share.
  • Provide technical solutions, negotiate contracts, and manage sales pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to tailor offerings to client needs.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience with Ariel compressor units (or equivalent).
  • Established relationships with oil & gas clients in Nigeria (IOCs, independents, or EPCs).
  • Prior employment with Ariel distributors or key renowned packagers is a strong plus.
  • Technical aptitude to understand compressor specs, packages, and aftermarket services.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and proven revenue growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
