Supplier Quality Engineer - Explosives at LevelUP HCS

Location: UAE - On-site working arrangement (Full Relocation Package Offered)

A leading defense company in the UAE is looking for aSupplier Quality Engineerto ensure the integrity and quality of our supply chain. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing rigorous supplier quality standards, overseeing testing and inspections, and driving continuous improvement to guarantee that all supplied products meet our high standards. This is a critical role that directly impacts our mission to deliver cutting-edge defense solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, your main duties will include:

• Developing and Implementing Quality Plans:Designing and putting in place robust supplier quality plans, standards, and testing procedures to reduce risk on supplied materials and components.
• Supplier Management:Performing maturity assessments, managing supplier performance, and conducting audits to ensure adherence to our requirements.
• Problem-Solving and Analysis:Using data analysis to identify potential risks and leading corrective and preventive action plans. You'll also participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) to advise on solutions for non-conforming parts.
• Collaboration and Documentation:Working closely with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering. You will also be responsible for ensuring all workflows and documentation comply with strict quality and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Experience:Minimum of8+ yearsof extensive experience in a Quality Engineering environment. Ideally, you'll have at least3 yearsas a Supplier Quality Engineer in the defense industry.Experience with explosives is a requirement for this role.
• Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a similar engineering field is required. A Master's degree or certifications like ASQ or CQI are highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:Deep knowledge of quality assurance techniques and methodologies (ISO 9001:2015), APQP, and FAI. You should also be skilled in reviewing technical drawings, schematics, and analyzing data.
