Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Tailor to join our production team in Lagos. This role is for someone passionate about fashion, precision, and bringing creative designs to life while working within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Construct, alter, repair, and fit garments according to Oya Abeo’s design standards.
• Translate design sketches into finished garments with high accuracy.
• Cut fabric and assemble garments efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Finish garments with neat hems, seams, and closures.
• Work with various textiles, including hand-dyed and hand-printed fabrics.
• Collaborate with the team to meet monthly production targets.
• Maintain sewing equipment and tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a tailor or garment maker (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong skills in pattern cutting, garment construction, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work with diverse fabrics and complex designs.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: ₦120,000 – ₦150,000 per month (depending on experience and skill level).
