Urgent Recruitment: Accountant Needed

An architecture company located in Victoria Island urgently seeks to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant.

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos.

Salary: ₦350,000 - ₦400,000 monthly

Qualification: B.Sc./HND in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years working experience. ICAN certified or currently in the process of certification.

Job Description:

•Manage all accounting transactions and ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

•Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets timely.

•Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

•Manage the companys cash flow and forecast future financial trends.

•Ensure timely bank payments and proper recording of all financial activities.

•Process tax payments and returns (VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.).

•Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.

•Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

•Provide financial advice and support to management for decision-making.

•Maintain updated records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.

•Use accounting software for daily entries and report generation.

Requirements:

•Minimum of 5 years proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within professional services or related sectors.

•Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including IFRS.

•Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).

•Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

•Strong organizational and communication skills.

•Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
