Accountant

Job Summary:The Accountant will manage full accounting functions, including financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial analysis, ensuring the integrity of TGM Educations financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee general ledger activities and monthly/year-end close processes.
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts regularly.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare statutory filings.
• Support budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Supervise and support junior finance team members.
• Recommend improvements to accounting systems and processes.

Requirements:

• BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) preferred or in progress.
• 3-5 years of solid experience in accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
