Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Position Summary

The Administrative Officer will provide vital support to ensure the smooth operation of the schools daily activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently across administrative, scheduling, and customer service tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain student records, enrollment data, attendance, and class schedules.
  • Handle front desk duties: receiving calls, responding to inquiries, and managing visitor reception.
  • Assist in scheduling classes, coordinating with teachers, and updating timetables.
  • Maintain proper filing systems for administrative and academic documents.
  • Prepare memos, reports, letters, and other official documents as needed.
  • Support HR processes such as employee document collection and onboarding paperwork.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory; liaise with vendors for procurement when needed.
  • Assist in organizing internal events, exams, meetings, and staff activities.
  • Handle correspondences via email and official communication platforms.
  • Ensure the schools administrative operations comply with internal policies.
  • Support students and teachers with administrative needs during daily operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors degree or HND in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative or office management experience (experience in a school setting is an advantage).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally.
  • Friendly, professional attitude with a customer-service orientation.
