JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a qualified Building Engineer with a strong background in Building Engineering to oversee and manage construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure that all building works are executed in accordance with architectural plans, engineering standards, and safety regulations, while maintaining high-quality construction practices and effective coordination among site teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and building codes.
• Inspect work progress, quality, and safety compliance on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with project architects, structural engineers, and other technical personnel to resolve construction-related issues.
• Monitor use of materials, manpower, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and report progress to project managers.
• Participate in site meetings and prepare daily and weekly reports.
• Assist in preparing work schedules and sequencing of construction tasks.
• Review and validate construction methods and recommend improvements where necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Building Engineering (compulsory).
• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and building systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and site layouts.
• Familiarity with building codes, standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Good leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
