Job Title: Business Manager (Retail)

Location: Lekki (onsite)

Salary: 250,000 - 300,000

Our client is a shapewear brand aimed at redefining shapewear for the Nigerian woman based in Lekki, Lagos.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, sales, and growth strategy of the shapewear company. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and business development skills to drive revenue, enhance brand visibility, and ensure efficient production and distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with the CEO and senior management on long-term business planning.
• Oversee the development of marketing campaigns, partnerships, and influencer collaborations.
• Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring strong performance from sales and marketing teams.
• Develop e-commerce strategies to drive online sales through the company website and third-party platforms.
• Ensure smooth production and supply chain operations, optimizing cost and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock management strategies.
• Oversee quality control and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Track and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for cost reduction and revenue growth.
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and legal requirements.
• Lead and motivate teams across sales, marketing, operations, and customer service.
• Train, and manage staff to align with company goals and values.
• Foster a high-performance culture with clear KPIs and performance evaluations.
• Enhance customer experience through personalized service and engagement strategies.
• Oversee brand messaging and ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Manage customer feedback and implement improvements to strengthen brand loyalty.

Person Specification:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business management, preferably in the fashion, retail, or shapewear industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proven track record in sales, marketing, and business development.
• Knowledge of e-commerce, digital marketing, and retail distribution.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market trends.
