CNC Programer

Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC machines based on job specifications and blueprints.
• Load materials onto CNC machines and secure them properly for processing.
• Program CNC machines using computer software to execute cutting, drilling, shaping, or milling operations as per design requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implementation of new techniques, software to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality in CNC operations.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions.
• Adjust machine settings (speed, feed, tooling) to optimize production quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Troubleshoot machine problems and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members, including designers, and production supervisors, to achieve production goals effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a furniture company
• HND or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in CNC machining is preferred
• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and understanding CNC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production instructions.
• Knowledge of different types of wood and materials used in furniture manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month

• Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Higher National Diploma (Required)

Experience:

• CNC Programer: 5 years (Required)
• Furniture industry: 2 years (Required)
