TEDxMaitama is a platform dedicated to sharing ideas worth spreading within our local community and beyond.

Job Summary:

Were seeking a passionate and proactive Community Manager to help build, nurture, and engage the TEDxMaitama community. You will serve as the bridge between our team, speakers, partners, and audience, ensuring that the TEDx spirit is represented both online and offline. Your role will be essential in fostering a strong sense of belonging and driving impactful conversations around our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with the TEDxMaitama audience, speakers, volunteers, and partners.
• Actively engage with our community on social media, emails, and event platforms, responding to inquiries and fostering dialogue.
• Content Creation & Communication:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create posts, newsletters, and updates that highlight event progress, speakers, and community stories.
• Keep the community informed about upcoming events, ticket sales, and volunteer opportunities.
• Event Support:
• Act as a point of contact during events, ensuring attendees and speakers feel supported.
• Facilitate pre- and post-event networking opportunities and activities to strengthen community ties.
• Feedback & Growth:
• Collect and analyze feedback from attendees and the wider community to improve future events.
Propose initiatives to grow and enhance the TEDxMaitama community both digitally and in-person.

Requirements:

• A strong passion for TEDs mission and values.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in community management, event coordination, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms, email marketing tools, and community management software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Creativity, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset.
