Company Cleaner

Job Summary:

The Company Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and orderly office environment to ensure the comfort and safety of staff and visitors. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks throughout the office and common areas, including restrooms, kitchens, meeting rooms and general office space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize office spaces, including desks, floors, windows, and furniture
• Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies (soap, tissue, hand towels, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and break areas, including washing dishes and appliances
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors daily
• Dust surfaces and equipment regularly
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when replenishments are needed
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks and report any damage or repair needs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Open and close the office (if required) in line with schedule or security procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cleaner or janitor (preferred)
• Good understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• High level of reliability and attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
• Basic verbal communication skills

Working Conditions:

• Early morning or evening shifts may be required
• Work involves standing, walking, lifting, and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies

May sometimes be required to work on saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦70,000.00 per month
