Company Driver

Job Summary:

The Company Driver is responsible for transporting staff, executives, clients, and goods safely and efficiently while ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained and in compliance with traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation Duties:
• Safely transport company staff, clients, and goods to designated locations.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of employees, executives, or deliveries.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with staff and clients.
• Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:
• Perform routine vehicle checks (oil, fuel, brakes, lights, tires, etc.).
• Schedule and follow up on vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle at all times.
• Report any vehicle issues or necessary repairs to the management.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Follow all Nigerian traffic laws and company transport policies.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all vehicle documents (insurance, registration, permits) are valid and up to date.
• Logistics Support:
• Assist with loading and unloading company materials or equipment.
• Support in running official company errands as assigned.
• Coordinate with the administration team for trip schedules and logistics needs.
• Emergency Handling:
• Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns and report emergencies to management.
• Ensure the availability of first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other safety tools in the vehicle.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent.
• Valid Nigerian drivers license.
• At least 3-5 years of driving experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Good knowledge of road networks and traffic regulations.
• Ability to use navigation tools (Google Maps, GPS, etc.).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours when required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.

Work Conditions:

• Regular travel within assigned locations.
• Occasional long-distance trips may be required.
• Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
