Wakafoods is a fast-growing food delivery startup committed to redefining food ordering and delivery in Nigeria, starting from Abuja. Through our innovative app, we connect customers to their favorite local restaurants and deliver hot meals quickly and reliably. Were currently in our pre-launch phase and gearing up for a major rollout.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, results-driven Digital Marketer to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for increasing brand visibility, driving user acquisition, and managing our online presence across multiple digital platforms. If you live and breathe digital campaigns, content creation, and performance analytics, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, search engines, email, and display networks.
• Create engaging content for online platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and blog.
• Work with designers and content writers to maintain brand consistency.
• Monitor campaign performance, provide actionable insights, and continuously optimize for ROI.
• Coordinate influencer campaigns, partnerships, and digital PR activities.
• Build and manage an active online community around the Wakafoods brand.
• Manage and grow the companys email list, including newsletters and promotional campaigns.
Conduct market and competitor research to refine strategy.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in a startup or e-commerce environment.
• Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and social media marketing.
• Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Canva, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Content writing and content creation will be an advantage
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.
Must reside in Abuja as job is on-site.
