Digital Transformation Officer

SCOPE AND IMPACT

As a Digital Transformation Officer, will play a crucial role in supporting the transformation team in driving organizational change through the adoption of digital technologies and strategies. The officers primary focus will be on assisting with the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experiences, and drive business growth.

JOB SUMMARY

The primary goal of the Officer is to drive an organizations digital success and ensure its continued relevance in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. This requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and stakeholder relationships.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

● Developing and implementing a digital strategy that aligns with the organizations overall business strategy and goals.

● Leading the organizations digital transformation efforts, including changes to business processes, culture, and organizational structure.

● Identifying and implementing new technologies and digital solutions that enable the organization to operate more efficiently, improve customer experience, and drive growth.

● Ensuring the organizations digital assets are secure and protected against cyber threats.

● Leveraging data and analytics to drive insights, inform decision-making, and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.

● Building and managing cross-functional teams to execute digital initiatives.

● Collaborating with other executives to ensure the organizations overall success and growth.

● Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of digital innovation.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

● Digital maturity level: Measures the organizations digital maturity level based on specific criteria, such as the level of automation, the degree of digitalization, and the level of integration across systems.

● Time-to-market: Measures the time it takes to launch new digital products or services from ideation to launch.

● Cost savings: Measures the cost savings achieved through digital transformation initiatives, such as the reduction of manual processes and the optimization of digital workflows.

● Employee productivity: Measures the improvement in employee productivity achieved through the adoption of digital tools and technologies.

● Customer experience: Measures the improvement in the customer experience across digital channels, such as website usability, response time, and personalization.

● Innovation index: Measures the level of innovation achieved through the development and launch of new digital products and services.

● Digital talent acquisition and retention: Measures the organizations ability to attract and retain digital talent and ensure a skilled workforce for digital transformation.

● Digital ecosystem partnerships: Measures the effectiveness of digital ecosystem partnerships in achieving digital transformation goals, such as increasing market share or expanding reach.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

● Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is an added advantage

● Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital strategy development and execution, with a proven track record of driving digital transformation in a complex organization.

● Experience in the finance industry or a related field. They should have a deep understanding of the finance industrys digital landscape and be familiar with the latest digital trends and technologies.

● Strong technical skills and be familiar with digital technologies, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cybersecurity.

● Strong leadership skills and be able to lead and motivate teams to achieve digital transformation objectives, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with stakeholders across the organization.

● Relevant certifications in digital technologies, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), will be an added advantage

Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
