Job Title: Events Art Director

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Work Mode: Hybrid

Remuneration: 500,000 - 700,000 Naira (Net Monthly)

Role Summary

The Art Director will lead the creative concepting, visual direction, and design execution for events, experiential marketing, and brand campaigns. The role demands a high level of creativity, leadership, and an eye for design trends that resonate with modern audiences. The ideal candidate will bring concepts to life through strong visual storytelling while ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate briefs into innovative and compelling visual narratives
  • Develop event themes, brand campaigns, storyboards, and mood boards
  • Guide internal and external creative teams through the design process
  • Ensure all visual assets (print, digital, environmental, stage, signage) meet brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with event managers, clients, and production teams to ensure alignment between creative concepts and event logistics
  • Collaborate with 3D designers, fabricators, and multimedia teams on spatial and interactive designs
    • Manage timelines for creative deliverables from ideation to execution

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in creative/art direction within the events, advertising, or experiential marketing industries
Strong portfolio showcasing event stage designs, branding campaigns, and visual storytelling Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and basic understanding of motion graphics or 3D rendering tools is a plus Excellent understanding of spatial design, branding, and production processes Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Design, or related field
