Farm to Firm is expanding! Were seeking result-driven Field Marketers to join our team in Ibadan. If you thrive on the excitement of closing sales, love talking to people, and have a passion for food and agriculture, this role is for you.

Youll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, meeting wholesalers and retailers to promote and sell our products - grains like beans, rice, garri, and other household foods like chicken. Your ability to build relationships and communicate effectively will be key to our success in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

Field Sales & Marketing

• Conduct regular visits to wholesalers and retailers to showcase our product range.
• Persuasively communicate product details and benefits to secure bulk orders.
Achieve and surpass sales targets through effective customer acquisition and follow-up.

Customer Relationship & Negotiation

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
Conduct price and product negotiations, especially in local markets for foodstuff.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with the receptionist/customer care rep to keep customer data updated.
• Share real-time market feedback with the online marketing team.
Maintain accurate sales logs and customer communication records.

Market Monitoring & Strategy

• Monitor competitor activity, consumer behavior, and product trends.
Provide insights that guide future marketing and sales decisions.

Qualifications

Education

• Minimum of ND or Bachelors degree in any field.
Proficiency in English is required.

Language Skills

Experience

• Mandatory: Previous experience as a field marketer or marketer in a microfinance bank or similar customer acquisition role. You must have a proven ability to get customers and meet targets.
• Experience in negotiating and selling food products in local markets is highly valued.
Background in real estate marketing (e.g., Landwey) or agro-related sales is an added advantage.

• Ability to persuade, negotiate and close sales efficiently.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
• A deep understanding of food and agricultural products.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
