FINANCE ANALYST

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements including forecasts, actuals, variance analysis, and commentary.
• Prepare quarterly Balance Sheet reports and ensure proper reconciliations are completed.
• Analyze trends in revenues, costs, and expenses to identify areas for improvement.
• Forecast sales, expenses, cost of sales, gross profit margins, and net profit margins.
• Perform budget vs. actual variance analysis for all expense categories (OPEX, CAPEX, Direct Human Capital Costs, Marketing Expenses, GENEX/ADEX).
• Support monthly and quarterly tax compliance activities (PAYE, VAT, CIT filings) with relevant financial data.
• Collaborate with HR and Department Heads to forecast workforce costs and direct resource expenses.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Exceptional data analysis and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to interpret complex data into meaningful and actionable business insights.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts, formulas).
• Experience with accounting and reporting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (or in progress) such as ICAN or ACCA is an advantage.
• 2-5 years of proven work experience as a Finance Analyst, Financial Accountant, or a similar role.
• Experience working in a logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or services company is a plus.
