POSITION: Finance Lead

Industry: Oil and Gas- Upstream

Location: Abuja

Reports to: GM Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Lead with Oil and Gas Upstream experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function, providing financial guidance, and ensuring the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and models to support business growth in the oil and gas upstream sector.

· Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with industry standards.

· Budgeting and Budgetary Control: Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for exploration, production, and development projects.

· Financial Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures, including those specific to the oil and gas industry.

· Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with oil price volatility, operational risks, and regulatory changes.

· Joint Venture Management: Manage joint venture relationships, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Requirements:

· Minimum of a bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

· Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in the oil and gas upstream sector.

· Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

· Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA) are desirable.

· Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with oil and gas upstream operations, including exploration, production, and development projects.
