Hotel Operations Manager
Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily functions of a hotel. The Operations Manager will work closely with department heads to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning, efficient service delivery, and adherence to hotel standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight
- Supervise the daily operations of departments such as front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Monitor service standards across all areas to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Identify and address operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Team Management
- Support recruitment, training, and performance management of department teams.
- Conduct regular team meetings and briefings to ensure clear communication.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Guest Experience
- Ensure all guests receive high-quality service throughout their stay.
- Resolve guest complaints or concerns efficiently and professionally.
- Continuously review guest feedback to inform service improvements.
Process Improvement
- Implement and refine operating procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work with the General Manager to identify areas for innovation and growth.
- Monitor inventory, supplies, and resources to prevent shortages or waste.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all departments follow hotel policies, safety regulations, and health standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain operational and service standards.
Reporting & Coordination
- Assist the General Manager with reporting on performance, occupancy, and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication and ensure operational alignment.
- Participate in budget preparation and cost control initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in hotel operations or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
