Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Market Loans Specialist to establish and grow business relationships within Lagos Island Market and its environs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in introducing Direct Bridge to viable businesses, creating new lending opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire viable businesses within Lagos Island Market and surrounding areas for loan opportunities.
  • Introduce Direct Bridges lending solutions to potential clients, educating them on our financial products and benefits.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the companys customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, traders, and key stakeholders in the market.
  • Manage client accounts, ensuring timely follow-ups on repayments and prompt resolution of concerns.
  • Monitor market trends, providing insights on customer needs, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
    • Represent the company at market events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in any relevant discipline.
  • 3-5 years of lending experience with a reputable loan company, particularly in market-focused business development.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Lagos Island Market and its business environment is an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications.
