Light Bus Driver (Lagos Route Specialist)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Light Bus Driver with an in-depth knowledge of Lagos roads, neighborhoods, traffic patterns, and alternate routes. The ideal candidate must be punctual, safety-conscious, and customer-friendly, with a strong familiarity with the daily challenges of driving in Lagos.

• Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
• Experience Level : Entry level
• Experience Length : 2 years

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a light bus within Lagos and surrounding areas.
• Plan and follow efficient routes using knowledge of the city to avoid traffic congestion.
• Transport passengers or goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all road safety and traffic laws.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Provide courteous assistance to passengers when needed.

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in Lagos.
• Deep familiarity with Lagos geography, including inner roads, shortcuts, and major landmarks.
• Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Ability to drive during early morning, late evening, or weekend hours if required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable, respectful, and have a professional attitude.
