Nursery Class Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR TEACHERS

1.Classroom control and management.

2.Control/ conduct remedial/ intervention classes for struggling children and work towards delivering them.

3.Prepare visuals and line with the content at the beginning of every term

4.Maintain a neat conducive and safe classroom environment.

5.Ensure safety of pupils in the classroom, at the playground and within the school environment.

6.Uphold the schools culture and peoples manner at all times

7.Groom pupils for presentations.

8. Manage time during teaching, especially during;

A. Activities

B. Teamwork by pupils.

9. Ensure use of proper Language DURING teaching and class discussion (conscious use of thinking verbs)

10. Ensure that activities are used for teaching promotes thinking.

11. Ensure team work and collaboration during activities (this is checked in the class while observing lesson)

12.Take care of pupils and take responsibility for the children under your care as well as their belongings.

13.Prepare instructional material in line with the content for proper lesson delivery.

14.Follow daily timetable and finish the scheduled subjects/activities for the day.

15.Attend school scheduled meetings, trainings, fellowships and parents praise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₦70,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Enugu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Higher National Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• PRIMARY EDUCATION: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• MUST BE BORN-AGAIN, A GRADUATE, COMPLETED NYSC SERVICE YEAR (Preferred)
