Operations Manager
Our client, a company in the water distribution industry, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of water distribution systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production operations, meeting both quantity and quality targets while managing a team of production staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance: Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of water distribution systems, including pipelines, valves, pumps, and meters.
- System Monitoring: Regularly monitor water quality and pressure levels to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues within the water supply systems, performing necessary repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory logs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Emergency Response: Participate in emergency response activities related to water system failures or contamination events.
- Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for water-related projects.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure successful project execution.
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets to ensure they stay within budget while maximizing efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: HND or relevant Bachelors degree
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, particularly within the water industry.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage projects efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction-related software tools.
